Terms of use — Blockyard: Build Ideas

By using Blockyard: Build Ideas you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be old enough to use Blockyard: Build Ideas in the place where you live. Where the app asks for your age, answering it untruthfully is a breach of these terms.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Blockyard: Build Ideas permission to store and display it inside the app so other people can see it. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you post.

Zero tolerance

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other users. Content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or that endangers a minor is prohibited without exception. Accounts that post it are removed without warning and without refund.

Reporting and blocking

Every piece of content can be reported, and every author can be blocked. Reports are reviewed by a person within 24 hours. Content found to breach these terms is removed and the decision is recorded with a written statement of reasons, which the author can contest at the contact address below.

Community

Before anything you upload is published, every image is checked automatically for prohibited content, and the cover is checked automatically for whether it shows a build. An image that fails the first check is not published and nothing from the upload is kept. An upload the second check is unsure about is held until a person has reviewed it, and only you can see it until then. Anything reported by several people is hidden automatically until a person has reviewed it. Every decision a person takes is recorded with a written statement of reasons that you can read on the build.

Your public name in the community is a creator name, not your real name. Names are generated for you and can be changed once a week; names that are offensive or that identify a real person are not allowed. Likes are counted per device and are anonymous. There are no comments and no messages between users.

Free accounts can publish one build every seven days. A Blockyard: Build Ideas Pro subscription removes that limit. Viewing and liking builds is free for everyone and always will be. Weekly challenges are for fun: the prize is a badge and a place in Featured, and nothing of monetary value is ever awarded.

Advertising

The app shows advertising. You are asked separately whether advertising may be personalised, and you can change that answer at any time. Declining is not a reason for the app to work differently.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms as well as these. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, not by us. A purchase that grants a balance of credits grants those credits to the account that bought them and to no other.

Buying on the website

Subscriptions bought at blockyard-app.com are sold by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which handles the payment, the tax and any refund; its buyer terms apply to that purchase as well as these. A subscription renews at the price shown at checkout until you cancel it, and you can cancel at any time from your account page, with access lasting to the end of the period you paid for. A website purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days, as the refund policy describes. A subscription bought in the app and one bought on the website unlock the same account.

Ending your use

You can delete your account and everything held with it from inside the app at any time. Content you have already published stays visible with its author removed, so that it cannot be traced back to you.
